VAUGHN EMERY - President & Founder
Vaughn is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) with expertise in designing, building and optimizing talent acquisition strategies. His experience includes university relations, corporate recruiting, retained executive search, and high volume project-based staffing. He has extensive knowledge of recruiting best practices in several industries including financial services, manufacturing, transportation, wholesale distribution, management consulting, post-secondary education, and marketing. Vaughn earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, and his master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Cincinnati. He has obtained certification in Targeted Selection, Human Capital Strategy, and Lean-Six Sigma.
PETER CAHILL - Senior Human Capital Consultant
Peter is a certified Master Trainer and accomplished Human Resources leader with deep expertise in leadership development, talent management and organizational effectiveness. He specializes in delivering enterprise-wide strategic learning solutions through behavior based training and coaching. Peter received his bachelor's degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, and his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. He is an engagement expert with a strong record of excellence implementing change, creating associate learning opportunities tied to business strategies, and leveraging resources to achieve maximum ROI. He possesses a strong background in building business partnerships with all levels of an organization from the shop floor to corporate settings, and is particularly effective in transferring culture, mission and vision statements into actions and business results. He has worked in a number of industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, post-secondary education, and health care.
PETER KALAMATIANOS - Senior Human Capital Consultant
Peter is a versatile professional with expertise across a number of areas. He is certified as an Adjunct Faculty Educator, and as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute. Past roles have included Internship and Practicum Supervisor at an accredited university, Adjunct Instructor in both online and traditional classroom learning environments, Human Resources Business Partner, and Talent Acquisition Manager. For more than 20 years, Peter has dedicated himself to teaching and practicing values-centered leadership. His work has encompassed management consulting, entrepreneurship, business development, strategy, project management, and instruction. His industry experience includes banking, retail, higher education, consulting, logistics, and information management. Peter earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management, and his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Family Social Services from Northern Illinois University.
MICHAEL EMERY - Business Development Consultant
Michael received his bachelor's degree in Marketing and Sales Leadership at DePaul University. He now works in the software industry. As a recent college graduate and former intern himself, he brings the student learning perspective to Intern Werks and maintains relationships with many of our university partners. Michael has worked in several industries including e-commerce, advertising, human capital consulting, and managed business solutions. He is an accomplished author, publishing his first novel at the age of 19, and also is active in national and state level politics. Mike has expertise in communications, e-mail marketing, data collection and analysis, project management, and business development.
